In Person
Beverly Hills English offers private classes in English that will help you improve your conversation, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Lead tutor, Jake Carpenter, will work with you one-on-one so that each class focuses on exactly what you need to learn.
Class Locations, Times and Prices
Private sessions are held at relaxed meeting sites in the following areas:
- UCLA
- Westwood
- Brentwood
Times are flexible.
- Individual class: $40 an hour with 1.5 hour minimum
- Classes outside the above three communities are an additional $20 per session.
- Group rates are available.
Internet English
Improve your English speaking skills easily using the Internet. Using Skype and a web camera, you can have your own private English tutor wherever you are on your computer. This is a great way to learn English. It is convenient, with flexible class times and no travel.
Jake will type his corrections using Skype’s chat function. You will be able to see his corrections in real time. This way, you will be able to save the chat sessions in Microsoft Word and study them later.
Prices
- Initial one-hour class and computer setup: $75
- Internet class: $40 per 50-minute session
Phone English
Being able to speak and understand English on the phone is very important. Lead tutor, Jake Carpenter, will help you improve your phone listening skills and help you with pronunciation, vocabulary, and ease of conversation over the phone. Times are flexible, and all you need is a phone.
Prices
- First 30-minute class: $40
- $1.50 per minute with a 15-minute minimum
